The new Regiondo. The story behind our rebranding.
This August is an important month for us and we have some exciting news to share!
As times have changed, so has our software and our business. But don’t worry — we haven’t changed our commitment to you, that will always remain.
What we have changed is the look and feel of our brand, logo, and website. So, without further ado, here it is:
Regiondo Pro is now simply… Regiondo!
We’ve come a long way since we started in 2011 and this is one of our biggest changes to date. Let’s take a look back through the years:

Also, here’s how our logo evolved over time:

A new brand, really? Why?
Sure, rebranding costs time and plenty of resources. Given the traction of our business, “with all hands on deck”, it was clear that we needed to move quickly and go the extra mile in order to succeed.
So, why did we decide on this change? Here are a few top reasons we can share to help you understand:
- Within the last 12–24 months, we have seen Regiondo grow exponentially — empowering some of the most successful and outstanding leisure activity providers worldwide.
- The Regiondo booking solution has grown from a ticket shop to a 360° management and sales platform for your business.
- The Regiondo team grew and we on-boarded exceptional new talent to join us on our mission.
- The old branding was still based on our B2C marketplace, which is now completely out of focus.
The major shifts above made us rethink our position as a company and influenced our new branding. Here’s what’s changed in more detail:
The position: emotion vs. technology
While we had a very strong ambition to form an emotionally appealing brand, we decided to take a more technical path. There’s a simple reason for this and it’s based on the assumed “split of work” between you and us.
We believe that our customers build the most amazing experiences and memories for consumers. And whilst doing this, they rely on our software. So, the expectation is clear: you get the best support to manage and grow your business. This means the Regiondo booking software is continuously developed and optimized to match your evolving needs.
The name: Regiondo vs Regiondo Pro
While it was clear that we should rebrand ourselves, we had intense discussions if Regiondo is still the right name for us (remember, our origin comes from “region”+“do” referring to all the different activities you can do in and around your region). This is our heritage and we draw from all the experience we have from our B2C days. This is the reason why our booking process has one of the best conversions and usability in the industry which is a core criterion for our development.
We are also proud of the name and heritage of Regiondo. It is unique and part of our story. So why should we replace it with a generic and confusing brand name? There’s just one little change you might notice: there’s no “Regiondo Pro” anymore. A core reason for the rebranding process was to push the SaaS booking solution into focus, so we believe that “Pro” is no longer needed.
The logo / signet:
As our overall position shifted, we decided to change the look and feel of our brand too. In addition to a new website, we created a new logo too. Here’s how we arrived at the new and improved Regiondo logo:
We’d love to hear your feedback on our new look and feel!
To sum everything up
From today onwards, we introduce a new Regiondo. By doing this, we are building the basis for our continuous focus and growth in the market, linked to a promise we give to you, our customers, and the mission we follow:
- Building the best booking software to manage your business
- Dedication to making a real difference for you and your customers
- Personal relationships and long-term partnerships we want to build with you
- Behind every software, code or e-mail are humans who love what they do (and are real activity maniacs)
That is why I don’t want to forget the last part of the Regiondo DNA:

Regiondo, made with love and dedication in Munich to make the lives of tour & activity providers easier globally.
I hope the partnership we build with you and your business will live up to this promise.
And personally, I want to thank the whole Regiondo team (current and historic) for all the great work they put into our business every day. A few years ago, nobody would have believed how far we would come and what we would achieve to date. Without all of you, this would never have been possible.
