Hello, Medium!
For as long as I can remember, I have always enjoyed solving puzzles. For example, a video game centred around puzzles and challenges is always top of my list to play over the seemingly FPS saturated market — not that I don’t enjoy a good FPS mind you.
It is likely for this reason that I have always had a keen interest in the sciences and I am in fact halfway through a degree in human biosciences. However, with the rise of technology it is also only natural that I have a fondness for computer science.
I have been “teaching myself” Android/Java since the days of KitKat, but have never really gotten serious with it.
Today, that ends.
After spending some time debating which language I should first learn, I originally arrived at the conclusion I should just stick with Android/Java. However, years of on-off again experiences with the language have just put me off and I need a break from them. And so it is that I have decided to delve deep into Google’s Dart.
This post marks the beginning of my learning journey which I shall be documenting both here and over on my dedicated Instagram account lowpolycoding.
Here’s to Dart!
