deactivate account — internet vibes
Currently: Sitting in my office with all the windows open, listening to the rain outside + felt inspired to write. These are my thoughts today.
To purposely slow down is to save your life.
Going too fast, you miss things.
Life needs balance –
I had to slow it down, get offline a bit and breathe.
I needed to mentally cleanse…
Spiritually + physically cleanse as well — those two just take a bit longer and are more involved.
More on that later.
As an empath, the inner-g of the internet and social networking can very easily become overwhelming and can affect my well being.
When I notice a change or slip into an episode, getting off the internet for a while is key.
I then assess where I have been spending my online time, decide if the bulk of what I get out of this ‘place’ is helpful or not.
If it’s not helpful, then it has to go. I delete my account.
Once I’ve cleared all negative or problematic accounts, I remove myself totally from the online experience for at least a day or two.
Once I feel centered again, I venture back online to tend to my business or network.
Spiritually cleansing involves taking spiritual baths, prayer, fasting, candle work and a few other things.
Physical cleansing always involves yoga.
That’s basically how I (try to) stay balanced.
Not that things always go as planned because you know who laughs at our plans…
Be easy
