The Future of Real Estate is Here: Why I Led Reali’s B Round

How would you describe the home buying and selling process? Simple? Efficient? Transparent? Affordable? There are a lot of preconceptions about buying and selling a home, but they are typically anything but pleasant.
Real estate is supposed to be a people business, but it often focuses on the wrong people. When it comes to serving home buyers and sellers, the agent-focused commission model is simply broken; which is why I am excited to share that Zeev Ventures is doubling down on our previous investment in Reali, and leading its Series B with an investment of $20 million.

I have known Amit for 20 years, having first invested in him all those years ago, when he had developed the first ever Bluetooth chip and we successfully sold it to TI, where it served as the foundation for TI’s Bluetooth business. It was my first ever exit as an investor, and Amit’s as a founder.
This time, he is tackling an even larger industry that could use some disruption, and I am psyched to back him again! He’s put together a stellar team at Reali that is equally committed to building a whole new real estate experience with advancements in AI-powered transactions.
Reali replaces an outdated, inflated model that is ripe for change
Reali is making a complete 180-degree shift from the current real estate model, by cultivating a new real estate culture of complete transparency. Gone are the days of multiple middle men and never really knowing what is driving negotiations and the decision making process. They’ve taken out all of the guesswork by doing away with the traditional commissions model. Reali Experts are full-time, salaried employees, whose only motivating factor is making buyers and sellers happy.
