Gabriel Cosmetics Review | Best Non-Toxic makeup brand
Gabriel Cosmetics is one of the best non-toxic makeup brands, hands-down. Gabriel cosmetics are gluten free, cruelty free, vegan, and non toxic. That’s why I’m excited to be sharing my thoughts and favorite products in this brand review.
It’s been many years now since I first discovered Gabriel at Whole Foods, and yes, it was love at first sight. You can instantly see from the packaging that the makeup has a lot to offer.
Is it really clean?
Gabriel is a cut above the rest when it comes to clean beauty ingredients. Almost all of their products receive a perfect rating on the EWG clean cosmetics chart. Their ingredients list is easy to understand and transparent. Finally a brand that is not green washed and actually works.
Application
Gabriel makeup products are easy to apply and you will see color and result immediately and with make up you really do want that instant satisfaction especially when you’re in a hurry.

Foundation
The first product is the Moisturizing Liquid Foundation. My foundation shade is Classic Tan. With 14 shades there is something for everyone.
I love this foundation because it offers something that none of the others do, and that is intensely bold pigment. The colorful brown and orange tones in this foundation will have your skin complexion looking tanned and healthy.

Lipstick
Absolute fire! The lipstick by Gabriel is clean and lead-free. They have over 25 shades of this smooth and pigmented lipstick. The formula is moisturizing to your lips and slides on with ease. This is probably my favorite product from this brand and I will use this lipstick for life. Check it out here and find your favorite shades.
Eyeshadow
The Eyeshadows from Gabriel are all matte and chic neutral colors. These eyeshadows are perfect nude colors for everyday that blend well and offer a light to medium coverage.
The colors are not very boldly pigmented but they do show up on most skin tones including my medium brown skin. The Aubergine is my favorite shade because it offers deep and bold color coverage. I use the Aubergine shade 2 out of 3 times I wear a mega glam look. I hope to find better ways to use these shadows and create maximum beauty with them.

The multi-pot is cream based multi-use product by Gabriel. Use the multipot as blush, lip color and eye color. The pigments are buildable and colorful. The pots also last forever which is awesome!
Gabriel Lipgloss
- Venus | Pinkish brown
- Caramel | Toffee brown
- Mocha Ice | Pink champagne
- The Gabriel Lipgloss comes in 10 impressive shades. Much like the eyeshadows all the lipgloss colors are nude and neutral everyday tones.
I love this lipgloss, every shade I’ve tried gives my lips a high end and healthy lip look. The application wand makes it fuss free and the formula is slightly thick but spreads easily and is super moisturizing. The pigments are color forward, yay!
Gabriel Lipgloss gives the luster of conventional glam without all the nasties.There is no weird tackiness and the lasting power is above average, for clean lipgloss.It’s another luxe lip moment served by Gabriel.
Gabriel Lip Liners
The Classic lip liner by Gabriel is a non toxic pencil you can rely on. The lasting power is decent and the effect gives perfect pouty outlined lips. This liner is affordable and that makes it a staple in my makeup kit. I especially love the chestnut color for everyday.
Gabriel Classic Eyeliners
The Gabriel Classic Eyeliner comes in pencil form and is great for smudging. There is a bit of running but it can be avoided if you apply primer before and powder on top afterwards.

Final Thoughts
Overall, this brand is totally worth the price and lives up to its reputation for clean beauty that actually works. I highly recommend giving Gabriel Cosmetics a try.
