The Alchemist is a book that has been passed on to me a number of times in my life. By people who have had a lasting impression. This is a book that has a different meaning for every person who reads it and a meaning that changes slightly every time you revisit.

Nevertheless, there are some core messages that resonate at every stage in our life.

I truly believe that The Alchemist is a life manual designed to help us find the gold that already exists within.

“No matter what he does, every person on earth plays a central role in the history of the world. And normally he doesn’t know it.”

We are all born with a purpose we may not completely understand.

As a child most of us are more concerned with discovery and play. This is the time when we learn and grow and build our understandings of life, and ourselves.

And sometimes these beliefs can completely control and alter our perceived life path.

But everything in life happens for a reason even if we don’t understand it at the time.

Every day we wake up with a list of things we need to do to get through the day.
