9 Easter Egg Hunts & Trails in Torbay
Easter is nearly upon us, which for us in Torbay is also the start of the school holidays. So to help answer the question ‘what are we doing today?’ I have started to take a look at what’s on and thought I would share it with you too.

Below you will find a list of 9 Easter Egg hunts and trails that are taking place around Torbay over the Easter weekend and into the Easter school holidays
Torquay
Dinosour World Easter Egg Hunt
11 am to 5 pm (last admission 3.30 pm) — Saturday 24th March to Sunday 15th April
Only £6.95 per visitor plus get the Paleo Pass which gives FREE unlimited re-entry for 3 months and 1/2 price entry to Kent’s Cavern during the Easter school holidays. As they say, now that’s rooaarsome!
Be a brave explorer to get close and personal with the dinosaurs, and be a Palaeontologist to discover fascinating fossils and find out who has been stealing the dinosaur eggs. Use the clues to solve the mystery and win a special Easter Edition Dinosaur Expert Certificate, a selection of real 160 million-year-old fossils, and a chocolatey treat.
Plus, win a Dinosaur World T Shirt and a Dinosaur Goodie Bag full of toys, models and fossils with our Easter Card competition.
Babbacombe Model Village Easter Egg Trail
10 am to 4 pm (last admission 3 pm)— Thursday 29th March to Sunday 15th April
Can you find all the hidden eggs — some may be eggstremely hard to find, but it will be eggscellent if you can find all 20. A chocolatey treat for all successful young eggsplorers! Remember to bring a pen/pencil for the spotter sheet.
10 am to 4 pm — Good Friday to Easter Monday
Hunt for the hidden eggs to claim your own at reception. Normal entry prices apply.
Living Coasts Eggs-cellent Easter Weekend
10 am to 4 pm (last admission 3 pm) — Good Friday to Easter Monday
Usual admission + £1.50 per trail sheet.
Visit Living Coasts this Easter for some fantastic fun. Follow their Easter trail to find fun facts about our animals and you’ll receive a chocolate treat at the end.
Babbacombe Cliff Railway Easter Eggstravaganza
EasterMonday — open at 9 am and the last carriage runs at 4:55 pm
Paignton
Paignton Zoo The Really Wild Egg Hunt
10 am to 6 pm (last admission 5 pm) — Good Friday to Easter Monday
Usual Admission + £1.50 per trail shet. Available whilst stocks last
Come along and join the Really Wild Egg Hunt this Easter at Paignton Zoo. Find all the bird eggs hidden around the Zoo to learn more about the nature around you and receive a special Easter treat when you leave.
10am — 3pm daily- Good Friday to Friday 13th April
Price: £2.50 each child
Spring has sprung at Occombe and they are asking if you can solve the clues on their Springtime quest. Please note that the nature trail and orchard will be shut off to all those not attending the Quest.
Brixham
9 am to 5 pm — Good Friday to Easter Monday
The Guardhouse Cafe annual Easter Egg Hunt returns this Easter with fun for all the family around Berry Head’s North Fort. This is a self-guided hunt, so make sure you bring a pen and collect your instructions from the Cafe.
This is a free event but they will be raising funds for the repairs at Shoalstone Pool, with a recommended donation of £2 per child. Last year they raised over £500 for the Friends of Berry Head, this year we hope to raise £1000 for the pool repairs following the recent storms!

You and your family are invited to find out who helped Bunny hide eggs around a range of National Trust properties by Joining the Cadbury Easter Egg Hunt! To make sure you have loads of fun along the way, take a map and follow the clues to point you in the right direction, a delicious treat will be waiting for you at the end (while stocks last).
