The Remington Nylon 66 Was the First Plastic Gun
War Is Boring

I remember this rifle and must say i enjoyed it a lot. There is an inaccuracy in the article, however. It states “[it] holds the distinction of being the only lever-action rifle Remington ever made”. Wrong. I learned to shoot with my fathers .22, which was a Remington lever action. (He was born in the late ‘30’s and bought it when a teenager.) I last fired it about 20 years ago, and still could take out a dime at range with iron sights. It had a wooden stock and is still one of the best shooting and reliable .22’s I’ve ever fired.
