People will always want to hear you express your affection

because in a disjointed world we all need some form of connection

i love you

but those aren’t the words I speak of.

People will always feel better after a true and meaningful apology

because in a world where so many are ignored, acknowledgment reminds us of our basal homology

i am sorry

yet these aren’t the words I speak of.

People can have burdens lifted and re-start a life in peace

because knowing you have released them sets you and them more at ease

i forgive you

these are not the words I refer to.

The words that a man speaks that make me judge him boldest of the bold

are words that often escape as a whisper during the darkest night of the soul

He speaks them with his head down not knowing that we all can tell

that he is the bravest of the brave, as he pleads

I NEED HELP.

When going through mental difficulties, please seek help.

There is nothing to be ashamed of.

Just because these illnesses are often unseen does not make them any less serious than those that are seen.

You are brave and worthy of the time and effort you and others will invest in your healing, be it days, months or years. God bless you.
