Loads of action in her bed last night

She banged books into her head

with meager satisfaction

and a pitiful payback:

still 52% on her test scores

Best to clear the mind and set the scene

morning hours may be better

engagement with the right material

gets the creative juices flowing,

a cuddle and loads of rest afterwards.
