Very lovely post. While I myself am on a mission to write something, even if a very short something, every day of 2016, I definitely agree that you need to allow your mind to breathe. Some times these are the necessary ‘stewing’ phases when your ideas blend together and grow. So yes Charlie, I do agree with you- there indeed is no one-size-fits-all for great writing.
