suddenly everyone on a team has access to a rich history of why things are the way they are, the decisions that led to the current state of the work

This has turned out to be an incredibly valuable not-so-hidden gem of Abstract — audit trails of minor polishes made to a jr. designer’s awesome work before final delivery to developers.

It eliminates that final minutiae feedback cycle while still providing educational visibility into changes made by a sr. designer.

In a perfect world, there would be time to verbally discuss every adjustment needed — but in a resource-constrained production environment those discussions often get truncated or sacrificed in the name of efficiency and delivery deadlines.

Love that Abstract bridges this gap, even if it’s just another channel for valuable insight as opposed to a complete replacement for peer to peer feedback.
