This is a gently reworked text based on a presentation I held recently. It grew from a personal USP pitch in to a workshop at one of my favorite design agencies.
Question: Are we as designers falling too much in love with our research methods and tools? Are we sacrificing the art of listening and speaking with people?
I am transitioning from my latest full-time agency assignment in to working independently again. One topic that comes up in conversations is the whole getting-paid-thing. Or more so, to get the client to agree to the fee one wants.
