Memoir of a Survivor’s Husband
Heath Houston

I was on another post (one of your poems I believe) when I saw a comment relating to this particular one stating that it was not suitable for work because of the emotional impact it would have.

I should have listened!

Beautiful and painful and somewhat depressing all at the same time. To read this fills me with all sorts of emotions and I’m currently in a turmoil of sorts right now internally and what gets me the most is your optimism at the end of it all.

You’re not bitter and you didn’t blame her and that in itself is a different sort of feat as the blame game is one that is all too easy to fall into.

Thank you for sharing Heath. I like the way you continually put yourself out there and just know that I’m continually in your corner rooting for you.

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
