A strong collaboration between the business community and the City of Oslo made it possible to organize a nationwide Hack the Crisis Norway which resulted in 219 ideas developed to solve the challenges brought by the coronavirus outbreak (COVID-19).
The hackathon was initiated by the City of Oslo and Oslo Business Region in collaboration with Code11 and Emergence School of Leadership, and involved several committed companies, organizations and individuals, from ICT Norway, NordicEdge, Guaana, Garage48, Cisco, Smartbyene, Junction, DOGA, Skift, Macsimum, ImpactStartUp, Oiiku, Brainify and Startup Norway.

The Coronavirus disease 2019 is a major challenge for the world. Oslo Business Region is working to understand the problems faced by local businesses as a result of the pandemic. On Monday March 16th, we asked the startup community in Norway to fill out a short questionnaire in order to understand the challenges they face and shape our immediate response.
In less than 24 hours, we gathered 143 responses.
