Unomi out of the box
So you read about Unomi and you want to test it for yourself.
The good people from the Unomi community already set up everything to help you out.
There are two ways of bootstrapping Unomi: You can download the binary distribution or the use the source code (the ways of actually bootstrapping using the source code are described in the documentation here). Using the binary is faster, but we will talk about Unomi modules defined in the source code.
When you get Karaf up and running together with your ElasticSearch instance, you can open a new tab and enter http://localhost:8181/. You will probably see this really simple page:
What you are seeing here is the landing page for Unomi's example, described here. We are not going to use it, but feel free to check it out. For us, this is just to validate Unomi is working correctly in your machine.
