I could rotate these worlds around each other like some kind of intricate cipher, using the most probable potential experiences to guide someone through.

One problem with this approach would be mathematical complexity. The more rings you add the more paths you’d have to ‘anticipate’; the more paths you anticipate, the more you will have to create story-lines/contingencies.

Possible experimental ground for narrators of this new medium would be incorporating existing ‘choose-your-own-adventure’ books (which, in my experience contain only a few rings and few possibilities and still end up being thick enough even on paper)
