The order you created was already in the works in traditional cinema, Jean Renoir was one of the few masters (I highly recommend La Règle du jeu) who bothered to tell the story in different layers of the Z plane.

Of course he still had the power of agency and the limitation of 180 rule in his favor, still, I thought you might find it interesting that you had independently recreate (and expand upon) what was already mastered quite a time ago.
