Attending the course of “Introduction to advertising and public relations” in University we were asked to organize in groups so as to take over some weekly projects and then present them as a team to our colleagues.

Our first task was to act as brand ambassadors of any famous or not brand of our choice. In order to achieve this, many conversations and a lot of research had to be done not only for the final choice of the brand but also to find enough elements and statistics of the company. We finally decided that being brand ambassadors of Pull&Bear would be a great choice.

Why we chose Pull&Bear?

Surprisingly, we didn’t find that difficult to decide the brand we wanted to represent. Pull&Bear seemed to us the ideal brand for many reasons. On the one hand it is a very well-known clothing brand that is aimed at a wide range of ages. It is easily accessible by the new generation and following all fashion trends faithfully that can be worn by everyone, independently of age and gender. On the other hand, all the members of our team are used to shopping there and considering that our personal experience with the brand is excellent we didn’t doubt at all about our choice.

Some information about our brand, Pull and Bear!

There are many more reasons why we chose the brand but first let’s see some information about our brand! Pull&Bear is a Spanish clothing company founded in 1991 that sells women and men products of each season. It belongs to the Inditex Group (Zara, Pull&Bear, Massimo Dutti, Bershka, Stradivarius, Oysho, Zara Home and Uterqüe) and it is present in 76 markets through a network of more than 970 stores and also in the online store. Pull&Bear brings the latest international trends to the street in the form of easy, comfortable and casual clothes. Products such as clothes on and off season, like swimsuits, scarves and other, shoes and accessories like earrings, and bracelets.

The values of the company are of great importance, not only for its customers and its corporations but for the company itself, a company with moral, consciousness and vision. Pull&Bear for instance, is known for its ecological sensitivity. There are eco-friendly stores using ecological fabrics and also recycling. Pull&Bear also promotes equality. Τhey are concerned for fashion for both genders and mainly for young people who have a casual dress sense, who shun stereotypes and who want to feel good in whatever they are wearing. Finally, they are always watching out for new technologies, social movements and the latest artistic or musical trends so that they can always be updated.

As every company Pull&Bear has its own purpose and vision about the brand. To begin with, it is important that they want to keep their prices low so they are accessible to the general public. Also, as a brand they are against stereotypes, the want to be innovative and break the rules which is something that young people usually prefer.

We, as brand ambassadors of Pull&Bear set some goals. Firstly, we want people to understand that we address to the general public and not only to the youth. Afterwards, increasing our sponsorships would help us to expand the range of our products (e.g. makeup, hair products). Last but not least, we want to promote diversity and differentness by avoiding producing mainstream clothing.

It is obvious that Pull&Bear is an innovative company that is consistent with any age, gender, and nationality. They are well known about their quality, prices and availability. Their marketing strategies are up-to-date and have proved the value of the company and its people. Everyone should visit a P&B store to find out in their own!
