Outduo is built around a simple, and proven, motivational strategy; accountability partners. It’s a lot easier to let yourself down than it is to let someone else down. Accountability partners help each other implement and maintain their commitments and desired habits by tracking each other’s progress.

If you have a goal that you’ve been putting off for ages, then simply enter it into Outduo, create your account, and then invite a friend to be your accountability partner for that particular goal. Right now, Outduo can handle daily, weekly, and monthly goals, and also goals with a deadline.

The best goals are Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant, and Time Bound (AKA the SMART criteria). For Outduo, it helps if they can be completed by your friends too. Some examples include:

  • Quit smoking by a deadline
  • Get up at 6am every day
  • Cook 1 meal every week

Trying to get healthier? Outduo has steps and weight tracking built in, all you need to do is connect your Fitbit account. If you don’t have a Fitbit you can still log your data manually. Other service providers will be supported in the future.

Challenge a friend to take 10,000 steps per day and then follow you and your friend’s progress in your challenge data graph.
