Jeju Dream №2 Hotel Tower opens on November 29

Lotte Tourism Development Co., the operator of Jeju Dream Tower Complex in Jeju Island, will open its second hotel tower on Nov. 29.

The new tower will offer 850 rooms under the Grand Hyatt Jeju brand. The resort’s first-stage hotel under the Grand Hyatt Jeju opened in December 2020 and will offer 750 rooms.

The casino at Jeju Dream Tower Resort opened last June.

The complex has two 38-story towers, with a total floor area of 303,737 square feet.

Grand Hyatt Jeju will be the world’s second-largest Hyatt brand asset, according to a press release from Lotte Tour Development released Tuesday.

According to an August note by Hana Financial Investment, a local brokerage, Jeju Dream Tower Casino recorded 4.2 billion won (about $3.57 million) in gaming sales from its opening on June 11 to June 30. During this period, the casino’s net sales (i.e., after rebates and fees) stood at 3 billion won.
