black eyes that stare straight into your soul
and want to know every bit of you — your fears, trauma
bewitching you into loving them so intensely
though they were never intent on returning that love
beware that look they give you in the throes of passion
which can quickly turn into a cruel disregard
then you may be spared of the lover turned predator
