Nice read, Farrah, and great points. Depressingly, women supporting other candidates experience the same vitriol as Hillary and her supporters, proving sexist morons don’t discriminate. I admire her resilience under constant fire. I do wonder how much a couple of terms in the White House can actively progress the world’s attitudes towards women—I really believe there’s a disproportionate amount of attention paid to the circus that is the American presidential race every four years—but it certainly can’t hurt. Regardless of whom is ultimately elected, I can only hope there is a concerted shift in the government’s approach to foreign policy, the environment, education, the economy… (I could go on). America’s trajectory on all these fronts is not sustainable.
