Review of New Balance 327
The New Balance 327 is a vintage-inspired sneaker with a twist, drawing influence from the 1970s running shoes but updated with a variety of modern features. Rather than commissioning a period-correct sneaker, New Balance decided to dig through its history for a retro running shoe mash-up that incorporates a variety of designs, providing a sort of ode to 1970s sneaker style.
It was released in April 2020 through designer Charaf Tajer’s Casablanca label. Colourful, print-covered, and gold-foil-embellished. The 327s are yet another reasonably priced sneaker to add to an already extensive collection.
The New Balance 327 has a basic silhouette, yet it has a large ’N’ logo and accentuated lines and details. The trail runner-inspired sole reaches halfway up the back of the heel, and the first colour ways had split colouring, with one side being completely different from the other. The majority of them are in neutral tones (browns, navy, black, and grey). There are also some more colourful alternatives available. You can enjoy a whole day cruising around without harming your feet, thanks to New Balance’s high standards. The soft insole and cushioned lining of this model ensure comfort.
While classic running shoes are not new, the New Balance 327 adds a unique twist that sets it apart from the competition. These are a wonderful alternative if you want a shoe that can go on long walks without breaking in and also looks good. These sneakers would look great with a pair of track pants or with an oversized outfit. It also looks good with jeans, which isn’t something you can say about all sneakers. They are sleeker and touristic than the pairs most people wear, so they may be packed for vacation.
The trail-inspired studded sole that stretches to the heel area is popular among users. This design provides an excellent grip while boosting the overall look and style, so walking on slippery areas will never be an issue. It’s also worth noting that this sneaker is ideal for driving! Stepping on the pedals feels comfortable and optimizes control thanks to the expanded rubber on the heel.
