A Step-By-Step guide on replacing the iPhone screen.

Step1. Book in your repair

Step 2 Initial iPhone inspection

Professional technician required to check the level of damage of screen. The frame is also checked for damage particularly dents or bends. If these points not-check the new screen will not fix on the device properly.

Step 3 removing bottom screws and screen

Carefully and properly remove the two screws on either side of charging point to loosen up the screen.

Then use a suction cup on the lower part of the screen or iSesamo tool to open the gap between screen and case.

Insert splunder on the left-hand side to split the adhesive and then repeat it to the right-hand side.

Slowly remove the screen and it will pop up the clips in the rear case.

Step 4 Disconnecting the battery.

It is disconnected by removing 4 screws holding on lower connector bracket. Then remove the bracket. Put screws in order. So that it will not harm the motherboard.

Step 5 Removing the display assembly

There are two 1.3mm screws on top of the device. Remove screws and front panel bracket.

With a plastic, splunder remove the front panel sensor assembly. Now slowly remove the assembly without any force.

Step 6 removing home button/touch id

Now remove three 1.3mm screws and 1.1mm screw behind home button. Keep all the screws in order. Then remove the bracket.

Using plastic spludger lift connector to disconnect it from socket very gently.

Step7 Remove ear-piece speaker

By using tweezer remove bracket by removing two 2.6mm screws and one 1.7mm screw.

You will see 2 screws on either side of the silver panel of different sizes and place them in order. By using tweezer remove earphone.

Step 8 removes the front camera and sensory cable.

Using plastic spludger slightly remove your light from the front panel. Place your iPhone onto the heat plate.

Now easily remove adhesive and place light under front camera. Remove the 2 plastic posts and lift the cable.

Step 9 Remove LCD shield plate

Remove the three screws and place them in order. Use heat tray to warm adhesive. Now slowly remove the LCD shield plate. Do it correctly.

Step 10 Reattaching the LCD shield

Clean the device and reattach the LCD backplate with same 6 screws.

Step 11 reinstalling home button/touch id

It is very hard to reinstall so do it properly and slowly.

Step 12 transplanting the earpiece speaker, front camera, sensory cable and flex assemblies.

Take flex from the previous screen and transplanted to the new screen. The flex for a sensory and front camera is placed in between plastic gasket.

Now screw up earphone speaker with exact same screws. Now the camera can place properly.

Step13 reattach the sensory panel

Place sensory connectors on logic board properly. Otherwise, it will give black strips on screen.

Step 14 screen test.

The screen is turned on to see dead pixels. This is done by dragging app around the screen.

Step 15 reconnects PCB connectors

Now place PCB connectors. Do it properly otherwise it will damage it.

Place bracket pack on its place.

Step 16 fixes the new screen

Now place the screen with proper screws either side of the charging port.
