Somaliland, Berbera: Tribal gunmen opened fire on Sahel police chief and others in the seaport town of Berbera this afternoon amid disputes over the port management. Abdirisak Yusuf Mohamed Asary has died of his injuries and several other police were wounded.The local sources say the mayor of the Berbera Jama Dorogo was among the wounded.

The tension is very high in Berbera, Hargeisa and other parts of the breakaway Somaliland.
Elders say the administration of Hargeisa has failed to solve the dispute between the local township and entrepreneurs.
