Phil Albert is a multi-awarded, long-time leader and voice for manufacturing in the State of Oklahoma, USA. His achievements in manufacturing was recognized by the state all of the years he spent in the industry that he received many awards such as Claremore Chamber of Commerce Business Citizen of the Year in 2008. The Claremore Progress Progressive Citizen of the Year in 2009. A recipient of Larry Mocha Advocacy award, part of the Dream It Do It Manufacturing Excellence awards in 2017. The Oklahoma Center for the Achievement of Science & Technology award for his services to the community in science and technology. In 2017, Tulsa World named him Tulsan of the Year. And in 2016, his alma mater honored him with Oklahoma Baptist University’s Profile in Excellence Award.

The former accountant who graduated Magna Cum Laude from Oklahoma Baptist University, started his career in manufacturing when he transferred to JEM Engineering in 1981. He spent 23 years at the company with the last 10 years as President. For those years, he was responsible for the daily operations and strategic planning.

Phil Albert is a proven leader in the manufacturing industry on the State of Oklahoma.

And in 2005, he and with Phil Parduhn, an engineer-inventor and Oklahoma Hall of Famer, opened the steel pole manufacturing business and served as the president of Pelco Structural, LLC. Under his leadership, the company experienced steady growth and measurable success, earning numerous prestigious industry and community certificates and awards. Example of this is the selection of Pelco by Clean Line Energy to manufacture the transmission poles for multi-state project known as the Plains and Eastern Project. It was recognized for its ability to meet Congressional goals to supply energy through wind power, the Clean Project recently received the support of the United States Department Energy.

With his proven leadership and the recognitions he received thru out his career, he was appointed to the Board of Directors for New Dominion, LLC, and the Advisory Boards for UMB Bank and Banc First. He was appointed in 2016 by State Governor Mary Fallin to the University of Oklahoma Board of Regents. And in 2017 he became the Chairman of the Tulsa Regional Chambers which was the first time in the history of the organization that the Board Chairman business resides in a regional partner community outside of Tulsa.

A firm believer in giving back and investing in others, he approaches community involvement with as much creativity and passion as he does his own business endeavors. Taking every opportunity to better the state of education and business in state, he focuses his efforts on the public school system and the organizations that preserve and promote awareness of Oklahoma’s history.
