As most of you have noticed, we have been sending PEOS to EOS accounts 1:1 based on the snapshot we took on the 15th of February.
It’s important for people that have received the airdrop to claim it through our site: https://peos.one or alternatively to send any amount of PEOS (0.0001 PEOS will do) to any EOS account (i.e. thepeostoken) and their PEOS will be claimed automatically. Shortly after the airdrop started, PEOS also got listed on several exchanges: Chaince, Newdex and Whaleex all listed PEOS and we thank them for taking initiative and making the whole process easy for us. We are also in discussions with additional exchanges that plan to distribute the airdrop to their users and we are doing everything in our power to support them. If you owned EOS on the snapshot day on a major exchange, please make sure to let them know that you are entitled to your PEOS tokens.
As over 99.9% of PEOS where distributed, we are also going to issue the tokens for Development, Marketing and ops. This way we will have the budget to fund community building and create awareness for PEOS in multiple languages. All team members will be getting payed in PEOS.
Moving forward, the marketing and operations budget will start to be issued to the peosmarketin EOS account as required so it can be available for deployment. As enforced by the smart contract, the team budget vests for 400 days. Even so, tokens will not be issued immediately after vesting matures, but at a later time and in fractions. These will be issued at peosteamfund for total transparency.
We truly believe that privacy in payment transactions is a must not just a feature, and we are building pEOS to be a private payment token for the age of dApps. Building on EOS will make it really fast, usable, secure and with high throughput enabling it to become a viable crypto currency for mass adoption.
