Welcome to pTON.fi’s Testnet!

Thank you for testing out our protocol on testnet.pton.fi. If you have questions or want to give feedback, join our telegram!

During the testnet phase, we would like to provide users with a useful guide to improve the experience.

Here is the suggested workflow for the Testnet:

  1. Receive test ETH tokens in the Goerli network via any faucet, e.g. goerlifaucet.com
  2. Receive test TON tokens via @testgiver_ton_bot
  3. Try staking your test TON tokens on pTON.fi to get stTON or pTON
  4. Try wrapping stTON to pTON and unwrapping it back
  5. Try unstaking stTON
  6. That’s about it. You’re the best!

You can also try Tonpound testnet.

You can find the in-depth instructions for each step in the rest of this user guide.

1 Goerli ETH

As the testnet takes place in the Goerli network, you will need Goerli ETH for gas usage. Receive test ETH tokens in the Goerli network via any faucet, e.g. goerlifaucet.com. Here are a few Goerli faucet apps:

Once you receive ETH on Goerli, you should see it in your wallet on the Goerli Network. You can also check the status of your wallet and transactions at Goerli Block Explorer.

2 Test TON tokens

You can use https://t.me/testgiver_ton_bot to receive test TON tokens.

You can open your testnet TON balance on wallet.ton.org/?testnet=true. If you use Tonkeeper wallet, then go to settings, Tap fast about 10 times on the app version in the bottom, you will get into the dev mode and there you can switch to the testnet.

3 Stake & Wrap on testnet.pton.fi

Once you have some testnet TON, you can try staking it. In order to do so you need to connect both your TON wallet and ETH wallet.

Note that it’s better to enter a little bit less than max amount of TON otherwise transaction can fail. Once you’ve connected wallets and entered the viable amount, you can press Stake. The transaction will appear in your TON wallet, if you confirm it then you will receive stTON or pTON (whichever you have chosen) on your ETH wallet on Goerli network. The bridging process may take some time, up to 30 minutes.

Once the transaction completes, you will be able to mint your stTON or pTON by clicking “Mint” button right under the “Stake” one.

Wrapping stTON to pTON and backward via Wrap stTON page is a much quicker process as it does not involve any crosschain activity. Before you actually wrapping any stTON, you have to approve the contract. Then wrap. You may also use pTON to test Tonpound protocol.

Finally, try unstaking your stTON and receiving testnet TON back to your TON wallet.
