Please explain to me which innocent bystanders I’m including when I read troll comments on YouTube and say “the neckbeards sure are out today.” It literally doesn’t include anyone other than male internet trolls.
Yes, privilege is a mix of things, but using a term to shit talk people who aren’t oppressed doesn’t negate any oppression they may face in another axis. For instance, if I call a dude who happens to be black a neckbeard, that doesn’t mean he suddenly doesn’t face racism. How is that not obvious?
