On Technology Recruitment: The Introduction, Part XV

I need to vent. I have been thinking, breathing and speaking recruitment for the past month so intensively I am going to pop like a balloon. To help with that I decided to start writing about technology (e.g. software) sector recruitment processes, maybe and hopefully doing something useful on the way.

Two quick notes:

  • I am going to write smaller pieces, longer than a tweet, shorter than a novel. It’s just that if I write longer stuff I get overly critical of the contents and will never get it out (and off my shoulders.)
  • I forget. I’ll get back to the second point later if I remember it.

So I’m going now to click on Publish start writing the next part.

I remembered, point two:

  • I am writing from the recruiter’s — or more from a company’s, a manager’s or the CTO’s point of view — as the person who needs a hire.

Now, publish.

(Edit: Later.)
