Just in case this helps readers, we do conduct several “challenges” like that one, every year, in our office, and we use:

It gives a fair approximation to body fat percentage (Tim Ferriss will say the contrary, and will propose an overkill method instead ;-).

And it’s easy to use in the office (you just need to go barefeet)

We don’t track the lowest %bodyfat, but instead we give a prize to the one that lowers his %bodyfat the most ;-)

It is an amazing way to motivate people, because you spend 8h/day and have lunch with all your competitors ;-)
