The advanced recycling and waste treatment in Japan

According to the latest data; Australia leads the entire world in consuming single use plastic…. +20m habitants.. And guess what? big oil and banks corporations are funding those “plastic” business… Its interesting to see data and compare it.. many people when first time visit Japan they are surprised for the amount of plastic that you find in packing, bags, little products, wrapping and so on… “What you can see is not everything” Japan has a Solid Waste Management and Recycling Technology. In fact, and according to official numbers, in 2018 Japan recycled an impressive 84 percent of the plastic collected. (The US, in comparison, recycles about 9 percent)

For example, Recycled resin from PET bottle waste is used to make material for civil engineering and inner cotton for bedding. It was thought that making long fiber or resin product that will not decolorize would be difficult to achieve. One Japanese company began recycling and reproducing PET bottles in China, Thailand and Taiwan. There are cases of recycled material being colored at the resin stage and made into high quality carpets using high level sewing skill.
