Welcome to this Graph Studio Tutorial!

Generally speaking, Graphs are an easy way to answer hard business questions using data and has a lot of applications in different fields as customer 360 for eCommerce, product recommendation, fraud prevention in financial services and more.

Really graphs exist long time ago, but, nowadays top tech companies as Meta are moving to the next level using graphs to build a new kind of features in novels datasets to train machine learning models.

For that reasons, Graphs are a very important tool to know as Data Scientist, Actuary, Statistician, Machine Learning Engineer, Data Engineer and so on.

In this way, this tutorial is a brief introduction to graphs and their use in the Data Science field with Graph Studio an Oracle application in the cloud as part of Autonomous Data Warehouse (ADW) and covers the fundamentals programing skills using the native Python API, PGQL.

This tutorial assumes you have a basic knowledge working with data in the Cloud specifically in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure(OCI), basic programing skills with SQL and Python and has permission to create or use Autonomous Data Warehouse(ADW) who contains Graph Studio as part of the same service.

Warning! Services in cloud could incurs in costs, but, to follow all steps on this tutorial for free, you can use the Oracle Free Tier.
