Boo and the Boomers — world’s lamest band name or an accurate description of the demographic of our tour group?
If you answered “both,” you are correct — although this morning, the demographic changed slightly.
When we last left you, Boo and I had reunited and were getting ready to meet with our tour group. At the meeting last night, the group consists of two couples from Australia, one couple from Morro Bay, California, a man from Colorado, Boo and me. Everyone seems very nice, well traveled and active, but I think I brought the median age down. It looked like it was going to be a trip for Boo and the Boomers. After our meeting, most of us went out to dinner. Boo and I both had chicken tagine. It was good, but at the risk of jumping to conclusions based on only a few meals, I’m thinking that Moroccan food may not be my favorite cuisine.
After dinner, Boo and I retired to separate rooms because she’s still coughing and stuffy, and I was able to get an extra room at a bargain price. I fell asleep with no problems but then awoke at around 4:00 a.m. and couldn’t get back to sleep, so I read an article in the New York Times about an eccentric German baroness who has been in a New York hospital for months after suffering a stroke, and no one knows what to do with her.
