Back and Forth
The way that your heart dances around with your withering ideas lights up my soul. Each kiss, a venom bite. Slowly moving through my veins, beautifully and painfully. My stubborn love, for each time you leave your venom on me you leave a trail on yourself. Dying slowly each time you leave your prey. I cannot tame you, but only let you free and watch you destroy yourself and others. As I nurture the wounds you left me, I think of how exhausted you must be leaving them over, and over again. I cannot make you stay. So in turn, you will become my prey. You will feel my wrath of silence.
