i totally agree with you. Concerning windows -when substitute teaching i always feel compelled to ‘open up the classroom’, whether it be a window or a short jaunt outside- i feel middle school children get a bad rap of the trappings of our society -just at the time when these same children are very capable of creating valuable change in our society.
