Most of what you mention are very old projects and are mostly badly deteriorated.
Counterpoint:
Our railroad network is primarily for freight. We have the smallest Passenger Rail network in the developed world and in Trump’s new budget “220 Cities will be losing all passenger train service per Trump’s elimination of all Federal Funding for Amtrak’s National Network Trains”
Our Interstate Highway System is awesome but is in very bad need of repairs for which there isn’t enough money in States and Federal coffers.
Our aviation system is a mess, airline’s passenger treatment is deplorable, and the air traffic control system is horribly outdated and badly needs modernization.
Our healthcare system works well only for those who have money and can afford to pay for premium services. Millions still have no healthcare. “11.3 percent of U.S. adults didn’t have health insurance in the first quarter of the year, compared to 10.9 percent of adults uninsured in the third and fourth quarters of 2016.” It should be noted that we DO have the largest distribution network for Opioids and Black Tar Heroin and that 80 percent of the global opioid supply is consumed in the United States. Certainly nOT a public good there. though.
Our primary and secondary school graduates greatly under-perform those from all other developed countries and, taken as a whole nationally, our Charter schools even under-perform our public schools. Many of our universities ARE excellent, but a great many of them are private institutions, which don’t qualify as Public goods.
Parks systems and Postal Service? Definitely great, but all developed (and most undeveloped) countries have these as well. Travel a bit and discover the awesome National Parks in the EU, many of which rival ours. Also note that Congress has saddled the Postal Service with pre-funding of pensions to such an extreme that they have struggled mightily to make a profit even though we still have the cheapest letter rates in the developed world.
FEMA? Great idea, typically horrible execution. Remember New Orleans?
It should also be noted that the Trump administration’s new budget slashes funding for almost everything you mention. So, no public good there.
Please open your eyes to Reality…..
