Second information from New York Post they report that Facebook revealed its new corporate name on Thursday, rebranding the owner of Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp as “Meta” as it grapples with a torrent of scandals.The tech giant’s old name just “doesn’t encompass everything that we do,” founder Mark Zuckerberg said in a lengthy online event. Zuckerberg said the new name is part of the company’s long-term plan to create a “metaverse” — a virtual reality world where users can socialise, work, play games and create art. From this two different company that both publish the new but same topic I think there is a lot different to people reaction due to the word that they put into the news. I think BBC new are more excited to read but New York Post are more detail and information to learn. However both have positive and negative side about the news, but i think BBC new are more dramatic than New York Post because they go back to look at Meta not really good history and talk about it recently.
