San Joaquin County AgVenture Event Shares Passion, Wonders of Ag with Students

On January 17th, NRCS’s Stockton office and area employees Blake Broussard, Ramon Salazar and Amber Gariety participated in the San Joaquin County Ag Venture Day at the Stockton Fairgrounds. This event was the 16th year sharing the wonders of agriculture with 3rd graders from around the county.

Over 200 volunteers imparted their passion and knowledge of ag to 2,500 third grade students and more than 200 chaperones.

The highlight of the NRCS display was the blow-up soil tunnel and the flora and fauna scratch and sniff stickers.
