Two Indian Chefs at the Worldchefs Congress & Expo in Greece 2016

Thessaloniki, Greece: Chef Manjit Singh Gill, President Indian Federation of Culinary Associations and Dr.Chef Soundararajan, General secretary will represent India in the 35th WACS World Culinary Congress to be held in Thessaloniki, Greece from 23rd to 27th September 2016. Dr.Chef Soundararajan is also a member in the World Chefs Global Culinary Education committee which drives and promotes Culinary. WACS, World Association of Chefs Societies is a Global organisation representing 102 countries and 10 million chefs around the world. IFCA is the nodal body of chefs in India and represent India in all Global Culinary platforms.

WACS was formed in Sorbonne Paris and the First World congress was held under the president ship of Sir Auguste Escoffier in 1928.

The biennial World Congress is the hall mark event of WACS which moves to different countries in the world India became member of World Association of Chefs Societies in 2003. The 35th World congress will be a most important one as IFCA, India will discuss Culinary Education covering Chefs certification program, Quality Culinary education, train the trainer programs. Also will discuss the probable points on the various topics to be included in the IFCA 7th International Culinary Conference 2017.
