Yes, they are...I now have a rescue dog whose name is "Angel" - I knew I had to have her because I have a close relationship to angels (she came with that name). When I got her, about 13 years ago, she was a scrawny mid-sized doggie with scars all over - obviously she had a difficult life...but with the love she gave me, I often wondered, "who rescued who?" She's been such an amazing source of love and comfort ever since. I am truly blessed!
