Those People and Their Lifestyles!

We are all born into the world through a seemingly miraculous channel via a series of natural events. Nature is incredible. And mysterious. Most come into the world in a form we consider “normal.” We have blue eyes or brown ones. Sometimes black or green or gray or hazel. Less than one percent of the population have Heterochromia irridum, with each eye a different color.

Genes give us our form and inherent strengths. Some are more flexible physically or mentally, have a proclivity for math and logic and others for language. Some less fortunate arrive with obvious physical misshapenness — spina bifida, a withered limb, dwarfism or such.

In other cases inherent differences are not physically apparent — Asperger’s, autism, etc. We accept certain social behaviors as normal and see these as some that deviate from the norm. Still, they are clearly inborn. It’s in the neurological system. They are hard-wired as such. That is understood. Clear and simple.

It only makes sense that those who identify as gay or bi-sexual, and those who identify with other than their physical birth gender are congenitally so as well. Just as were those who have violet eyes or ADD. The fact that it is not apparent to us in our physical view does not make it less true than if they born a savant or with a splashy red birthmark.

Could some perceptions and reactions to lifestyle “choices” be misguided? If it is religion that shapes your view, consider that God makes no mistakes (“works in mysterious ways” after all). And that it is not our role to judge. There is no need to push against the LGBT community in any way. Let us simply live and let live. And love.
