Let’s get NAKED
More often than not, humans derive elated joy and pleasure through activities enforcing minimalist or no clothes covering their body. Love making is the obvious one; massages, bathing, sleeping (in short clothes) are some others to consider. Saints and sages in ancient period used to practice yoga and meditation with bare minimum clothes guarding their bodies. Contemplating further, we are born naked, the very moment of our physical manifestation to the outer world. Death which is majorly considered an atrocious incidence gets us naked completely. Rationally, death is the best thing that can ever happen to a human being, to our very purpose of existence because it clears the way for the new us, for the better us on a fresh plate. Summing it up, getting naked is the derivation of ecstatic sensuous contentment. Physically, we are often bound with conditions and restrictions with this entire act of getting naked. In the process of love making, two naked bodies come together indulging into highest level of intimacy releasing most powerful energies of love and emotion. But well, this enlightened experience of mating is often shared with most revered loved ones and restricted to one or two people during the entire life time. A kid is carelessly comfortable naked dancing only in front of her own parents while shies away when exposed to the rest of the world.
Keeping aside the said activities pertinent to being naked which are part of our daily routine; how often do we get naked or comfortable are we in the process of getting naked — ‘abstractly’? Or let us ask ourselves how do we break the barrier and condition of restricting ourselves of getting naked and being comfortably exposed in front of the entire world in a “non-clothe way”?
Actors that we are and roles that we play often are to meet our moral, social, economical, spiritual responsibilities of life. While performing and gunning to be the best actors, we frequently manipulate to please ourselves and others! Dumping down our honesty and pounding our integrity, we vouch to win the world mostly for our own personal motifs. That leaves us to be honest or speak our heart out to only few sets of people whom we blindly trust while we seek solutions to our problems. These primarily includes our spouses, pals, parents or in some cases Guru and even God. Professionally, it could also be our mentor in the business or someone extremely experienced at our workplace that we feel, can feel our feelings while we are shaken up. On the contrary, we sometimes come across a complete stranger who urges us to remove the heavy burden of clothes worn by our mind and just exhibit our true self to lighten up! Crux here lies in getting nakedly “honest” with whoever we come across in our life. Who knows who would sail us across the most indomitable sea full of storms? Become naked to unburden!
The other redefined way of looking at nakedness is being shameless. Being audacious. Not caring much about the perception the world would hold for us for our deeds and actions. While we become rebellious and focused about achieving purpose of our life, it aids in overlooking our shyness and hesitancy. Geniuses who have made remarkable difference in this world from time immemorial have possessed one common trait of being shameless. Shameless enough in thinking and doing. And when you are naked “shamelessly” you become fearless to losing, deafening to ultimate criticisms and focused on winning. Become naked to win!
Although unclothing oneself often happens with no one around us, how comfortable do we get seeing our naked self — the real us, the penultimate us? Regrets and the guilt of our past, non performing self in the present leading to anxiety of our future self often enforces us to ignore the real us, tempts escapism from current turbulent situations and deny addiction to material things. To overcome any insurmountable instances or pain, it’s very important at the first place to accept the situation the way it is and the fact that we are suffering. Ignorance often leads to cowardliness and running away. Exposing yourself with your own self is an ultimate way to the self discovery, of our thoughts, feelings and emotions. It can become a great catalyst to bring the desirable changes one wants to see in one own self while dealing with the world. It helps one realize the right time to change the clothes of past, run around nakedly searching a new wardrobe. Become naked to become comfortable with your own self!
Spiritually, our soul is covered with different body form (humans, birds, animals etc) at a given time governed by our past karmas. The ultimate purpose of the soul is to attain moksha and reach transcendental space, free of any bodily entrapment. A soul becomes free only when it is naked. And when it becomes free, it attains its purest form, happiest form and is above all the forms it has traveled through while on journey of independence. Become naked to become free!
So strip off whenever you can with whoever you can and enjoy the naked dances of your life. It feels awesome being naked, always!
P.S. This should help and get you comfortable when the world tries to strip you off, anytime!
