On March 27, Xiaomi officially released MIX 2S, gaming laptop, and AI speaker in Shanghai Baoshan Gymnasium.

MIX 2S
In design, MIX 2S looks like the MIX 2, with three narrow edge and chin design in the front screen. But the edge is narrower, and the screen ratio is higher than MIX 2. MIX 2S has dual back cameras, respectively with 12-megapixel wide-angle lens and 12-megapixel telephoto lens. The two cameras are at the upper left corner vertically. MIX 2S lens uses 1.4μm super large pixel, and Dual PD.
The pictures released at the press conference look stunning. Especially under the dark light, MIX 2S has much better performance compared to the previous generation.
Ultra-photosensitive dual-camera can adjust background light automatically, resulting in more dreamy effect. Assisted by AI, the camera could optimize 206 scenarios under 25 categories. The front camera supports real-time AI Bokeh, and mirror function.
The new function of AI camera: taking the picture and it can directly tell you the price in RMB, which is very convenient for the users travelling abroad. In addition, Xiaomi MIX 2S scored 101 points in DxO.
On performance, Xiaomi MIX 2S is China’s first smartphone equipped with Snapdragon 845 processor. Its highest frequency is 2.8GHz. MIX 2S adopts all-new Kryo 385 architecture, Adreno 630 graphics processor, and 8GB+256GB storage. It latest score is 277,178 points. MIX 2S will support the 7.5W fast wireless charging. (Xiaomi wireless charger is price at 99 yuan.) And the voice assistant is called Xiaoai.
As for price, the 6GB+64GB version is priced at 3,299 yuan($525), and the 6GB+128GB version is 3,599 yuan($573). The 8GB+256GB version is priced at 3,999 yuan($637), with free wireless charger.
Gaming laptop and AI Speaker mini
In addition, Xiaomi’s gaming laptop was also released at the press conference. The laptop has simple design without logo. It has 16 million-color four-zone keyboard, 15.6-inch screen with ultra-narrow border, and the world’s first Dolby enhanced version. It has GeForce GTX 1060 display card, 6GB video memory, i7 standard processor, 16GB RAM, 256GB SSD hard disk and 1T mechanical hard drive. Also, Xiaomi laptop supports dual SSD mode. It has extraordinary performance in online games. The price is 8999 yuan($1433), and entry level is 5999 yuan ($956)(i5+GeForce 1050).
Xiaomi AI Speaker mini is the last product released at the press conference. Xiaoai has more than 200 kinds of practical functions and mass content, and the price is 169 yuan($27).
