Krishna Janmashtami-Jai Shree Krishna
कृष्णाय वासुदेवाय हरये परमात्मने। प्रणत क्लेशनाशाय गोविन्दाय नमो नम:॥
Lord Krishna’s Birthday Janmashtami is celebrated with great devotion and enthusiasm in India in the month of July or August. According to the Hindu Calendar, this religious festival is celebrated on the 8th day of the dark fortnight in the month of Ashtami or Bhadra of the Krishna Paksha. Sri Krishna is considered to be one of Lord Vishnu’s most powerful human incarnations. He was born in Mathura 5,200 years ago. Janmashtami, or more popularly known as Krishna Janmashtami, is the birthday of Lord Krishna, which is celebrated with great enthusiasm and enthusiasm in India during the monsoon.
In all of them, the widely accepted idea is that Lord Krishna is the eighth incarnation of Lord Vishnu. We all know from Mahabharata that Lord Krishna was born to kill the monster Kansa which happens to be his maternal uncle. Whenever there is some imbalance in relation to peace and prosperity in the universe, it is said that Lord Vishnu comes to save humanity from the hands of monsters and goons. The only purpose of Krishna’s birth was to free the earth from the evil of the demons. He played an important role in the Mahabharata and promoted the doctrine of devotion and good deeds, which is deeply narrated in Bhagwat Geeta.
Krishna was born in the custody of Kans. Vasudev, his father immediately thought of his friend Nand and decided to hand over Krishna to his child to save him from the group of brackets. Krishna grew up in Gokul and ultimately killed his uncle, King Kansa. The actual celebration of Janmashtami occurs during the midnight because Krishna is believed to be born in a dark, stormy and airy night to eliminate his uncle, the rule of the Kansa and the violence.
On this day, Bhakti songs and dance, worship, aarti, blowing of conch and children are being dressed in remembrance of Lord Krishna.DAHI Handi is another important aspect of this festival, which is celebrated on the second day of Janmashtami. In the form of a child, Lord Krishna was given the name “Makhanchor” or the name of stealing butter. He used to steal butter from every house in Gokul. Dahi Handi is an incident where Lord Krishna’s butter theft activity is portrayed in which clarified butter or ghee, are filled with dried fruits, and with the help of the rope, milk has been suspended at a very high altitude. All local young people gather to build a human pyramid and climb each other and break it. This is an activity that teaches the team’s working principles.
