The heart of Rotterdam was severely bombed during World War II but the city survived and was rebuilt. What is particularly fascinating about this city is that they have decided to take it to a whole new level. It is the most urban city I’ve seen.

So, here is my photo trip to Rotterdam. Step by step.

Rotterdam Centraal. The train station at which I have arrived and an amazing piece of architecture.

Rotterdam biking facility. Its capacity is more than 5, 000 bikes.

Markthal. Another great example of unconventional architecture which is actually a huge market.

Jamie’s Italian. Located at Markthal. Well, I’m a huge fan which is why I couldn’t miss the opportunity to dine here.

Kubuswoningen or cube houses.

Hopper Coffee&Bakery. Because we all love great coffee.

Witte de Withstraat. Lots of art galleries are located here.

Erasmusbrug and De Rotterdam.

Fenix food factory. Awesome food hub which offers the products of local farmers. You can eat right here as well.

Posse espressobar. It is a coffee shop, a restaurant, a bookstore and an art gallery. Four-in-one.

De Luchtsingel. Bridge for walking only.

Schouwburgplein.

And a few other photos of this fascinating city. It’s awesome, it’s comfortable and it’s absolutely welcoming.

Vibe. Creativity. Life. This is Rotterdam.
