I try not to speak about gender diversity because one misunderstood statement can be easily interpreted as sexism, but this is the main issue, and it starts years before the job offer is posted online, it starts at the formative years of girls.
I've literally heard female colleagues relate how parents or other family members tried to persuade them of studying STEM careers because those are "careers for men"… just to name on example of how this is a cultural problem that starts early in the life for most women.
