IA#5: Reflections on “The Monuments Men”

This film is really an inspiring one because it shows the viewers the importance of art and how it contributes to our culture and history. it gives are the credit it deserves as well as giving credit to these men for not only finding the artworks over five million, but also helping to end the ward. this film has given me a more personal view PDF this part of history and importance of art that i never has before.

2. Write a critical analysis of the film iitself (narrative, production, directing, cinematography, acting, etc.)

The film was able to satisfy the viewers since it was very detailed and true to life. there monuments men showed a good cinematography because the actors delivered their lines well. it felt like i was part of the world war ii since the setting and props used looks real.

3. The philippines had a set of “monuments men” during the world war 2, what could have happen differently? is there a need for us to have a “monuments men” in the armed forces today? please discuss.

We do need it since there are a lot of artworks nowadays by different famous artists that are very precious to our country and very memorable as well. we should have our own men event if there is no war going on. they would help preserve our culture, as well as our history, by keeping the artworks safe. or men should also be well trained in tends of using the firearms
