MagicHack Hackathon Winner Matthew Burfield

Magik was in the air this past weekend when Developers, Minecrafters and Storytellers came together to form MagikHack2. It was a quest that started on Friday 7 April to Sunday 9 April in the events space on Level 2 at Fishburners. The challenge was to develop content in Magikcraft using the Magikcraft API, build a world in Minecraft with accompanying quests with narrative and spells custom built to interact with the world to make special things happen.

Matthew tirelessly consulted with his fellow hackers and came up with the most comprehensive “technological tale using JavaScript” that will teach children of any age to code. Play and Code, a winning combination that allows kids to learn incidentally while having great fun!

Congratulations Matt!
